In 2020, we formed Respect the Root as our first step into cultivating kava and our community beyond our kava bars. Respect the Root is our distribution and processing location in Oakland, California that was formed with the intention of collaborating directly with farmers and suppliers of noble kava. 

We recognize that this emerging market will require infrastructure and investment to build a stronger path to sustainability, preservation, and honoring all those that have cultivated kava before us and supporting the generations to come. 

As we continue to learn and expand, we intend on sharing our kava beyond the footprint of our bars and directly into your home – in the very near future.
